This business breakfast will combine the launch of the Business Forum with a keynote speech from Richard Mullender on “Secrets from a hostage negotiator: how to apply those techniques to business”.

The event will be hosted at the Beaumont Avenue location.
The Fulham Boys School, 9 Beaumont Ave, Hammersmith, London W14 9LP

The Forum’s launch comes in response to queries from business colleagues wishing to continue to engage with the school and to answer FBS’s growing need for a supportive business network to inspire and drive forward the school’s careers and enterprise programme.  The objective is to provide a forum for businesses to:

  • work with FBS to map out what tomorrow’s world may mean in terms of careers, skills and enterprise;
  • network with businesses similarly interested in understanding and building links with education;
  • engage with the wider FBS community.

Breakfast will be served from 8.30am.  Richard Mullender has kindly agreed to speak from 8.45, providing a fascinating insight into the skills learnt from hostage negotiation and their application to everyday working life. Richard has over 25 years of experience with the Metropolitan Police, most recently as the former Lead Trainer at the National Crisis and Hostage Negotiation Unit at Scotland Yard.  With extensive experience in training senior professionals across the world, Richard will share techniques that can be used when presented with challenging individuals or situations in day to day business.

Please RSVP here to let us know if you would like to attend and/or you would like us to extend this invitation to other business colleagues.
